Crochet Classes with Dianne Clinton!

CLASS SCHEDULE FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER

VERY BEGINNER Part 1 – Tuesday, October 13th @ 7-9pm ($20 with materials included, or $15 without)

The Very Beginner level is for those who have no idea how to crochet, but would love to learn!  The class is $20 per person if you would like your ball of medium worsted weight Red Heart yarn and 6.0/6.5 crochet hook to be provided for you, or it’s $15 if you would like to bring in your own hook and yarn.  The class also includes take-home instructions on how to crochet and how to read a crochet pattern.  The Very Beginner class can be split into two parts since some crocheters learn faster than others, and might need two classes to get the hang of it!  If you learn everything at the first class, you might not want to return for the second part and that’s just fine!

BABY BLANKET WORKSHOP- $40 (plus the cost of materials, which you get to pick out on your own!)

Part 1 – Wednesday October 21st, 7-9pm

Part 2 – Wednesday October 28th, 7-9pm

Part 3 – Wednesday November 4th, 7-9pm

This workshop is a very involved beginner class.  Although the pattern itself is very simple and easy to follow on your won, it requires a lot of crocheting at home once you have learned the basics at the workshop.  The blanket is a keepsake for a little girl, covered with flowers on one corner.  It’s SO CUTE!  Materials needed: size 6/6.5 crochet hook, and 4 colours of medium worsted weight yarn (but you need 3 balls of each colour!)  If you fell in love with crocheting and really want to get into it, this is the workshop for you!

VERY BEGINNER PART 2 – Wednesday September 2nd, @7-9pm ($15 – bring your materials from last class)

Very Beginner Part 2 starts with the second half of the crochet pattern instructions from part one.  You will begin with the half double crochet, and move on to the double and then the triple!  This class is only $15 because it is expected that you have learned Part 1, and therefore have your yarn and hook already.

BEGINNER WORKSHOP (3 classes for $40) – LEARN TO MAKE A FUNKY FLOWER SCARF JUST IN TIME FOR FALL!

Materials required to bring – a 6.0 or 6.5 crochet hook, and 3 balls of medium worsted weight Red Heart yarn.

This class is for those of you that know the basics of crochet and are ready to make something to be proud of!  You will receive a one-of-a-kind scarf pattern created by Dianne Clinton, so don’t worry…no one else will have what you are wearing unless they take this class!  If the scarves are finished quickly, and the three day workshop is not needed to complete the project, another pattern will be provided so we can keep creating!  New skills for this class include changing colours, making flowers, and learning how to work with all those stitches you have learned to make funky patterns yourself!
